Patriotic Tablescape Ideas for the Fourth of July

While summer is right around the corner, it hasn’t felt like it much in New England lately. We’ve had a cold and rainy spring. I’m very much looking forward to warmer weather and time spent at Camp, our lakefront cabin in New Hampshire. That’s typically where we entertain in the summer (and often outdoors!).

Patriotic Tablescape Ideas

Side board with strawberry and blueberry infused water and a DIY Pallet wood American Flag.

The focal point of this patriotic tablescape today is the DIY Rustic Pallet Wood American Flag. I absolutely love this piece and I use it year after year to add a patriotic touch to our summer decor and celebrations.

Patriotic Fourth of July Tablescape with red, white, and blue dishes.

I have always wanted to do a patriotic styled shoot. While my vision was for outdoors, unfortunately, I don’t yet have an outdoor dining area here at home.

Fourth of July Drink dispenser ideas

It’s honestly at the bottom of my wishlist, because of the previously mentioned wet and cold weather we are prone to. I know some of you may be facing the same thing — or maybe you’re in the south where it’s typically more comfortable indoors at this time of year! Either way, I hope these indoor patriotic tablescape ideas spark some inspiration!

Fourth of july patriotic tablescape ideas — blue glasses with red and white striped straws.

Red, white, and blue prominently feature throughout the tablescape with the blue glasses and paper straws. I chose foundational pieces that were neutral to complement these vivid pieces!

Patriotic Tablescape and entertaining ideas with fruit infused water in a mason jar dispenser.

It simply infused the water in the mason jar dispenser with strawberries and blueberries. It adds a hint of sweetness and flavor and looks very festive! You could also use a sangria or something fun along those lines.

White hydrangeas in a galvanized bucket

Galvanized vessels and containers round off my patriotic tablescape ideas. I used white hydrangeas for the flowers, but another fun idea is to use blue hydrangeas with other white and red flowers.

  2. Botanic Bleu Says

Hurrah for the red, white, and blue… outside or inside! I associate patriotic decor with New England. Of course, every part of the country celebrates with red, white, and blue, but I loved visiting my sister when she lived in New Hampshire and Maine during the summer. I pinned to my Pinterest board, Patriotic, and to my group board, Round Up of Blog Tours. Loving all of the homes on this tour…
