Office

A sunny first-floor office is given a makeover to provide a blank slate for creativity with tons of built-ins for storage.

While I never did get around to blogging this space along the way or photographing this room myself (these photos are courtesy of Heidi Hope), I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention my office. We worked on this room over the years, transforming it from a dark and dated space to a light and bright studio that sparked creativity.

Perhaps most importantly, I’ll always remember this office as the room where Lyla spent her kindergarten year, making friends and learning remotely. This room saw a lot of our life, from me writing this blog, to Lyla’s school year, and all of the hours I spent writing my book.
