Purple Spring Tablescape Ideas
Actually, I’ve never decorated with purple at all in my home. It turns out that it’s not the easiest color to find décor for! I absolutely love it though, and it won’t be the last time.
It all started with the purple tulips. They’re such a rich color. Admittedly, they are probably a little past their peak at this point, but still so pretty.
I’ll make sure to dry the bulbs out this summer and plant them in my yard in the fall. I’ve done this for the past few years and I’m gather quite a colorful collection of hyacinths, tulips, and daffodils.
This sweet little place setting was very inexpensive, quick, and easy. I bought some small flowerpots, wrote names with a paint marker (a permanent marker works too!) added some moss and eggs (you can find them at the dollar spot) and a couple little faux flowers.
Recently, I shared how to create a tablescape step-by-step. I mentioned that one of the most common questions I receive (particularly from the husbands) is where to put the food.
It was with this question in mind that I designed this purple spring tablescape. You could actually lift the center vignette out pretty easily and put a platter with your main dish right in the center of the table!
The resin bunnies are available here. I absolutely love them!
I’m going to let the photos take it from here!
I love how neutral and natural these settings look. It’s elegant without being too fussy.
These small clay pots are perfect as small favors for guests. This is a great place card idea for Easter brunch.
Except for the flowers and bunny vignette, each of the centerpiece items can be reused for other tablescapes at any time of the year.
