I’m not sure anything could make me like doing it… but I do enjoy peeking into this room now. I’m obsessed with the new wallpaper—and swipe to see the dreamy handmade door I found on Etsy 😍

I’d love to know—what’s calling you out of h I’d love to know—what’s calling you out of hibernation this year?

Defrosting looks a little different every year. Sometimes it’s a change in the light. Sometimes it’s sensory, a smell or a feeling, even when the weather doesn’t match. Sometimes it’s just… remembering who you are when it isn’t winter.

Today was mine. The air was a little warmer, the birds were singing, and I instinctively headed out to the garden. Even if (when) there are a few cold and blustery days ahead, I’m reminding myself there’s also warm and sunny days by the water not long beyond that. ☀️🌊

✨ Heirloom Goals ✨ Not all goals are meant to ✨ Heirloom Goals ✨
Not all goals are meant to be checked off in a single year. Some of the most meaningful ones take time. Years, even. They’re like heirlooms: carefully crafted, nurtured, and passed on. They’re not rushed to completion.

For me, this has been a big mindset shift. When I look back at my goal-setting journey, there are some goals (like publishing a novel) that have appeared year after year. I used to feel frustrated that I hadn’t finished them yet, within that single goal planner, but now I see it differently. These goals are part of a bigger, longer journey—and every small step forward matters.

If you’re carrying a goal into 2025 that you didn’t finish last year, you’re not alone. Let’s give ourselves permission to go slow, to savor the process, and to create something truly meaningful.

🌿 What’s one goal you’re working toward this year that feels like an heirloom? I’d love to hear in the comments!

This year feels different. It's calmer, more inten This year feels different. It's calmer, more intentional, and rooted in a deeper appreciation for the slow unfolding of life’s most meaningful goals.

My guiding word for 2025 is heirloom. It reflects the “less is more” philosophy I’ve been embracing. I'm committed to choosing quality over quantity, timelessness over trends, and creating a life that feels both beautiful and meaningful.

There’s a quiet luxury in savoring progress rather than rushing to the finish line. Some of the most fulfilling goals are the ones we nurture year after year, knowing they’ll take time to blossom.

As I move through this year, I hope to share more of what inspires me—spaces that tell stories, moments of creativity, and the pursuit of living with intention. Here’s to crafting a year that feels aligned, thoughtful, and inspired.

What are you looking forward to in 2025?

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! 🧡🦃

This season of returning to college has been a whirlwind, but I firmly believe that hard work almost always pays off. I’m deeply grateful to this community for your patience and continued support during the quieter moments, and to my family for encouraging me to chase my dreams of becoming a stronger writer. ✨📝

A big thank you to @caitlinpagephotography for capturing these beautiful golden hour family photos! 📸
