Sometimes it’s sensory, a smell or a feeling, even when the weather doesn’t match. Sometimes it’s just… remembering who you are when it isn’t winter. Today was mine. The air was a little warmer, the birds were singing, and I instinctively headed out to the garden. When I look back at my goal-setting journey, there are some goals (like publishing a novel) that have appeared year after year. I used to feel frustrated that I hadn’t finished them yet, within that single goal planner, but now I see it differently. These goals are part of a bigger, longer journey—and every small step forward matters. If you’re carrying a goal into 2025 that you didn’t finish last year, you’re not alone.
