It’s finally fall! When I was photographing and writing my Fall Home Tour last week it was still brutally humid and not at all fall-like. It was somewhat difficult to get into the autumn spirit. That is certainly not an issue now, as I write this it’s a cool crisp morning and the smell of apples baking is permeating our home!
As promised, today I’m sharing the Happy Harvest Printable featured in the tour. I had so much fun creating this! I think it’s a great neutral piece that will flow really well from early fall all of the way to Thanksgiving. I am really feeling a drive to design again lately, which is something I will be sharing more about soon.
I also enjoyed putting together this little vignette. The birch pumpkin and worm-y frame were Target finds, the candle was from Pottery Barn several years ago (similar linked), and the little antler is a shed that my dad found in a field. The stoneware pitcher is from Homegoods (similar from Target linked) and the branches are a combo of Decor Steals Olive Branches and Pomegranates from Joanns. I had wanted to use real apple-laden branches from my crabapple tree, but we had an infestation of Winter Moth caterpillars this past spring that shredded the leaves. Combining these two faux branches was the closest I could get to the look I was going for! The Window Mirror and Apothecary Cabinet were both DIYs (tutorial coming soon on the cabinet).
